Welcome to Hawkins Counseling Center

circle of friends

Welcome and thank you for visiting my page!  I received my Masters degree in Counseling & Guidance from UTEP and have been working as a Counselor for EPISD for 21 years.

It is a great pleasure to be part of the Hawkins team!
I am looking forward to another successful school year, filled with lots of fun activites with your son/daughter!  It is my pleasure to work with students in PK-5th grade on a daily basis.

One of the most rewarding aspects I find about my job is conducting guidance lessons in your child's classroom on a monthly basis.  The lessons presented are under the district character program, Core Essentials. A variety of topics are covered, reinforcing character education which encompasses values and character traits, such as responsibility, respect, courage, honor, joy, caring, citizenship.  I also conduct group sessions for those students who may need additional help in areas such as impulse control, anger management, grief counseling, etc. I work with the teachers, students, faculty and staff.

I love seeing the students happy and eager to come to school. Positive motivation and positive thinking is always reinforced.

If I can be of service to you in any way, please don't hesitate to contact me at (915)236-8912.
