I believe every child has the ability to learn. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. It is possible to make a weakness a strength through perseverance and effort and if a strength is left unattended it can become a weakness. Students learn at different rates and levels. This is why I make every effort to review, reinforce, and re-teach.
Attitude is also very important in meeting goals and having success. I do not believe in “can’t, too hard, forgot, not good at”. Excuses are obstacles or barriers that lead us to become unsuccessful. I believe we need to set up goals with high standards.
Learning is a never-ending process. I am still learning and willing to make changes that will make me a better teacher.
